I was reading Interconnected back in 02003, so I have no idea how I missed The Mirrored Spheres of Patagonia. Anyway, came across it via Matt Webb's presentation slides from Interesting08. What if the laws of physics were a local phenomenon, transmitted from place to place, carried by people in the way they view the world? Well worth the read.
