“Work as if you lived in the early days of a better nation.”
— Alasdair Gray
“As generative art leaves behind a childhood full of fractal toys among Lindenmayer trees, and reaches, if not maturity, at least some kind of confident youth, I regard it as its biggest challenge to find aesthetic venues that are not just uncritical imitation of art as we know it, nor imitation of nature for the sake of it. Venues that are, if you allow me, not too human, and not too inhuman, but a path open only by the collaboration between a person and an automated system: a really hybrid creature, an aesthetic chimera.”
— Leonardo Solaas
“Reduce the volume, Increase the quality and density”
— Fumito Ueda

It’s all about resolution. As you grow together, the decision points grow finer and finer. There is no maximum resolution, no bottom to the recursion.
